We now know where Ashley Darby stands in the great Christmas tree debate.
While many Americans wait to put up the trees in the days or weeks following Thanksgiving, others have chosen to do so immediately after the Halloween season, giving them at least two months to enjoy the holiday staple. While there are convincing arguments on each side, it recently became clear that Ashley falls into the latter group.
On Friday, November 10, The Real Housewives of Potomac mom returned to social media with a couple of videos in which she flexed her choreography and gymnastic skills. Ashley wrote she had been doing some house chores when she came across a TikTok posted by Lynnrae Hiers Serra, a San Diego dance coach who specializes in turns.

Although the videos were quite impressive, some viewers may have been distracted by the festive background, as the Potomac ’Wife filmed the clips in front of a large Christmas tree inside her Arlington, Virginia, home. The beautiful flocked piece was adorned with yellow lights, a sparkly white tree skirt, as well as some classic ornaments, like gold and white baubles.
Ashley set up the tree next to her living room fireplace, which was also decorated with a gold Christmas figurine and bright red stockings for her sons, Dean and Dylan, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Michael Darby.

The photo showed her and her boys smiling ear-to-ear as they donned matching PJs in front of their twinkling tree.
“The tale of a mum, two toddlers and a self timer,” she captioned the Instagram. “Merry Christmas from my sweet little angels and me — blessings to you all.”

Ashley isn’t the only Housewife who chose to put up her tree before Turkey Day. The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Melissa Gorga also embraced the Christmas spirit last week by showing off her sleek Christmas home decor, which included white and gold stockings for her family, miniature faux trees, silver ornaments on the fireplace mantle, and a massive flocked tree.
“I DID IT,” she captioned a video of the decorations.

Melissa also posted an Instagram Story of her standing atop a stool as she set up her tree. “[Too] early?” she asked in the post.
Obviously not.
