JMK Plumbing, in partnership with the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, is proud to announce the launch of a new scholarship program designed to support aspiring plumbers in the Miami area. This initiative aims to foster local talent and address critical workforce needs by providing financial assistance and hands-on training opportunities to local residents.
The JMK Plumbing Scholarship Program will offer a $1,000 grant to selected Miami-Dade County residents who are interested in pursuing a career in the plumbing industry. In addition to the financial grant, recipients will also benefit from a one-month paid training period, where they will work alongside some of the most experienced and skilled plumbers at JMK Plumbing.
“This scholarship is about investing in our community and providing meaningful opportunities for the next generation of skilled tradespeople,” said Mehdi Khachani, owner of JMK Plumbing. “We are excited to partner with the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce to help ensure that local residents looking to enter this vital industry can do so with the support and training they need to succeed.”
Applications for the JMK Plumbing Scholarship will be open from June 10th, 2024 to September 30th, 2024. Interested candidates must be Miami Dade County residents and demonstrate a commitment to pursuing a career in plumbing (acceptance to a plumbing trade school in South Florida).
