For 42 years, Randy Samuelson and his family have ensured that Creston and surrounding communities have reliable, local access to expert advice on everything from flooring to window coverings through their dedicated team at Nufloors Creston.
Locally owned and operated, the collective knowledge of the team spans more than 60 years, with many team members having worked at the location for well over a decade.
“We take a lot of pride in our work and in ensuring our customers, who are often our neighbours, feel confident and informed about every purchase,” says office manager Tracy Wastrodowski. “Our focus isn’t on the sale itself but on helping customers choose the right products for their homes so they can enjoy them for years to come.”
While flooring is at the heart of Nufloors, the Creston team has expanded its services to better meet the needs of the community.
Along with a wide range of modern flooring options, they offer window coverings – featuring popular styles like honeycomb, roman and roller shades – with in-home consultation and installation, area rugs in various styles and sizes, Deksmart aluminum railing systems, waterproof Duradek exterior vinyl flooring, and are a registered Schluter Systems dealer.
They also provide custom bathtub-to-walk-in-shower conversions and professional bathroom tiling services.
“We’re always looking for new ways to support our neighbours,” Wastrodowski says. “Whether that’s improving accessibility with walk-in showers or helping create outdoor living spaces, our goal is to ensure people can find what they need right here in Creston.”
Neighbours helping neighbours
Nufloors locations across B.C. proudly support the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, as well as local non-profits and organizations.
“Supporting BC Children’s Hospital and the local causes that make Creston the close-knit community it is has always been close to our hearts,” Wastrodowski says. “This past year, B.C. Nufloors locations donated more than $11,000 to the foundation, with over $70,000 contributed in the past four years.”
The Creston team also supports the local curling club, Rotary and youth sports teams, and has regularly sponsored community fundraisers and tournaments.
